As a self-taught watercolor artist, I love to paint the faces of the people I know and the stunning landscapes and vibrant oceansides of the places I have lived and love to travel: New Mexico, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Panama. I’m drawn to realism as a way to capture the ordinary of each scene and show what I see. I hope that what I put on paper resonates with those who encounter my work. I paint slowly, adding subtle transparent layers until I see what I want to see. Each painting is a slow patient, and sometimes painstaking) journey. Living and creating in Albuquerque with my family and six cats, I’m happy to offer an opportunity for art lovers to explore my world through my artistic lens.
