This digital photography series is about the textures of Fall – the small details that often go unnoticed but make the season so special. While the warm colours of Fall are what we usually think of, I wanted to focus on the shapes and patterns that emerge as the season changes.
Working in black and white brought out the quiet beauty of these textures. The way dew clings to a spiderweb, the roughness of bark, the delicate edges of drying leaves, or the soft haze of fog in the air – it’s these moments that draw me in. For me, Fall isn’t just about what we see, but what we feel. There’s a peacefulness, a sense of reflection in the season, and I wanted to capture that through the simplicity of light, shadow, and texture. This project is my way of celebrating Fall and its quiet transitions, and a reminder that even in the fading light of the season, there’s beauty in the details.
